Maneuver Mastery
Every time you gain a rank in this specialization, select a maneuver. You improve at the selected maneuver, gaining the benefits listed below. You may not select any maneuver more than once.
Benefits of Mastery
Quick Attack
- Removes the damage penalty when attacking with a light weapon.
Reckless Attack
- Reduces the Action Point cost of the maneuver from 3 to 2.
- Increases the advantage on the damage roll from 1 to 2.
Shatter
- Decreases the difficulty of the attack roll by 1.
- You may drop your weapon if the shatter attempt fails. This prevents your weapon from being shattered.
Feint
- Reduces the difficulty of the Precision/Confusion or Precision/Acting roll from 5 to 4.
Sneak Attack
- Increases the dice pool of the damage roll by 3.
Knockdown
- Decreases the difficulty of the attack roll by 1.
- You may deal 1 point of damage to the opponent on a successful knockdown.
Cleave
- You may target any number of adjacent spaces within your range.
- Each space targeted beyond the third increases the difficulties of the attack and damage rolls by 1.
Hold Firm
- Reduces the Action Point cost of the maneuver from 2 to 1.
Shield Intercept
- You may choose to allow individual attacks through your block unhindered, such as the arrows of an ally behind you.
- You may protect any ally in an adjacent space from projectile attacks, even if the projectile does not pass through your space.
Soul Shield
- Reduces the Action Point cost of the maneuver from 3 to 2.
Charge
- Reduces the difficulty of the damage roll by 1.
Trample
- You may prevent enemies from avoiding your trample.
Grapple
- If you tie with an opponent on a grapple roll, you gain control of the grapple. If you were already in control of the grapple, you may deal 1 point of damage to the opponent.
