Specializations
Specializations are similar to Skills, except that where skills tend to be broad areas of expertise, specializations are specific techniques. They are assigned with the same points as skills, but most require several points to advance.
Soul Specializations
Drain
Using Soul Specializations can cause drain. Each Soul Specialization will list how draining it is to use.
Mobility
- 2 points per rank
- Use the soul to maneuver the physical body in a nearly weightless manner.
Evocation
- 3 points per rank
- Pull energy from arcane dimensions as blasts of fire, ice, or lightning.
Domination
- 3 points per rank
- Assert your will over other souls, cowing them into silence or inspiring them to courage.
Telekinesis
- 3 points per rank
- Manipulate and move physical objects.
Rending
- 5 points per rank
- Directly damage an opponent's soul with your own.
Mending
- 6 points per rank
- Empower the souls of others to rapidly cure wounds or alter anatomy.
Clairvoyance
- 10 points per rank
- Sense arcane powers or pull knowledge from arcane realms.
Combat Specializations
Unarmed Combat
- 4 points per rank
- Deal extra damage with unarmed strikes and gain abilities that improve unarmed strikes.
Maneuver Mastery
- 3 points per rank
- Master combat maneuvers like quick attacks, grappling, and feinting.
Weapon Mastery
- 3 points per rank
- Deal extra damage with your chosen weapons.
Dodge
- (5 X rank) points per rank
- Gain additional defense when you are aware of your attacker.
Other Specializations
Musician
- 2 points per rank
- Select instruments to gain proficiency in.
Linguist
- 3 points per rank
- Learn to speak additional languages and identify languages easier.
Ritual Expertise
- 7 points per rank
- Learn to perform ritual magic techniques.
